Subject: Triathlon-Gum Commercial
Anyone see this one yet? Has a woman at the starting line of a Tri about to put a piece of gum in her mouth (I believe Extra), but the gun goes off, so she tosses it aside. The piece of gum follows her throughout the race (yes, all three disciplines are represented) to convince her that he can last the distance. Kind of cool, we got a commercial! :-)

Ya. I saw that a few weeks ago, really cool! Good exposure for the sport and great to see women portrayed as they are in the commercial! Really positive all around for a commercial.

Why would the piece of gum bike and run? Could it just get on the bottom of someones shoe and hitch a ride? Most people don't wear shoes to swim otherwise the gum would have it very easy in a tri.

I was so happy to see that commercial. It's like uh-oh the secrets out! Now our little club will be invaded by the masses. Yeah!!!! But the commerical is cool. I really liked it.

Not only is our sport gaining support through the commercial, but durring the ESPN coverage of the baseball playoffs no less. I expect to see a commercial like that durring the olympics and on OLN, but ESPN no less. Cudos to Extra for the currage to take the "plunge"
