Hi, everyone. I'm new to triathlons but ran the Baltimore Half-Marathon last year. I swim like a boat anchor so this should be interesting. My wife has done several of the Danskin tri's in the last few years and I'm looking forward to giving one a "tri".

Hello there Mr. Bal-mer Boat Anchor.  If an anchor be the case, stay away from the harbor unless you at the aquarium taking lessons from the fish.

Welcome - I'm just a few minutes south of you.  Wife did the Bmore half this past year.  Good luck, and just give a holler if you want to get in on a group ride.

I currently live in Fulton just outside of Columbia, but when my wife and I got married we lived in Catonsville.  I work downtown though, so I'm in B-More almost every day.

Let us know if you have any questions about the site!  BT is a great resource and you can learn a lot here (from a fellow boat anchor that is finally getting the swim a little bit under control).
