Those who know me say I am a very literal person.  In that light, I ask the following question about the song "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer".  One friend told me I need some fresh air.

The singer says "you know Dasher and Dancer, etc." and then sings "and
do you recall the most FAMOUS reindeer of all?" and then  he starts
singing Rudolph's life history.

QUESTION:  If Rudolph IS the most famous reindeer of all, WHY is the
guy spending the time singing about him?  Wouldn't we already know
Rudolph's story?  Either the singer thinks we are forgetful, or maybe
Rudolph REALLY isn't the most famous reindeer of all.  Perhaps the singer's time
may be better spent telling us about the other, less-famous reindeer.

Any thoughts?  Can you tell that I am just a barrel of fun to live with?   Can you tell I need to get a life?  Hey, it's Friday afternoon.

None of the other reindeer ever had a cartoon, claymation, song, or a book made about them. That places Rudy in the top spot as "most famous reindeer". WE know rudy's story, but just cuz you're famous doesn't mean that everyone has heard of you. The pups coming up may not have heard Rudy's story. Now I need some fresh air

Without the song what would we really know about Rudolph? Nothing. It would all be rumors and innuendo and he wouldn't be famous. Or maybe its just Americas celebrity obsessed culture that we only want to know about the famous reindeer...

is Rudolph with you ?.....or against you???? does he have to be hoof printed when he enter the US by customs officials ??
Is he an illegal immergrant crossing the border?? or is it because he is associated with a fat , white male he is considerd to be low risk??does he think that there is only one side to the story and therfor ok or does he understand that others may have differnt beliefs and therfore a bad person who needs to be watched........

He may be famous but what do we REALLY know about the reindeer who calls himself Rudolph? he may really be abduolph in reality.

i think i need some fresh air now myself!!!

A little too deep! but..... when he gets patted down by TSA, do they have to use the back of their hands for the "sensitive" areas?

Either you need the fresh air OR you're getting to much oxygen to the brain. Either way, take another hit and mellow. :-O
