We have just disabled any external linking for profile avatar and photos in the control panel.  It has slowed certain pages down - forums and logs on many occassions trying to load them if the other site was slow...in many cases they were mapped to a persons hard drive rendering it useless for others to see.

So now for profile avatars and photos will only work with the uploader at the bottom of your control panel.

So if your avatar or photo has just 'disappeared', go back to your control panel and load it directly to BT.

The maximum avatar file size is 50kb

i must be slow... I canot find a photo upload for avatar's ... the pic i want to use is in my photo albums but i dont see any options at the bottom of my control panel

Click on Control Panel in the upper left hand of any page:

The upload avatar box is at the bottom on the left:

Is there another way to make HTML tables with pictures behind them?  Usually, I link to a site that has a background in the header of my table:

Never mind.  It helps it you use a link to the gif image not the page itself.  Embarassed
