Looks like it will be around 16 C in early September.

It's probably a good move. That will give the Vancouver tri on labour day a bit of competition.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a good move. After two years of terrible weather/water they needed to do something. It's also nice to have a good tri in the Lower Mainland-ish that's later in the season.

Ohhh man.

I wish I could do it! But I'll probably be buying the Seasons Pass for the Subaru West Coast tri series (at $395 for 4 HIM it's a STEAL), and the Sooke IM will also be on that weekend.

Water looks a little more inviting then though!

Yea I think i will probably be in for this one to. It was a good race this year.... other then freezing water and me hyperventalating the entire swim

It must be friday because everywhere i look i can't find anything about the 2009 race. It's all 2008 stuff.
