I missed last night, is white on the left, yellow right, that sort of thing, on each loop?

Davies skipped another feeding, I don't think he's taken anything, nor the Greek.

Guess the energy savings from drafting is worth the extra yardage.  the greek tried to get away but either gave up or got caught

The feedings really fascinate me. They're so low tech, but they drink so fast. I'm new to OWS, so I guess this is normal?

I got in at about the 35 min mark - any idea as to what the finish time is likely to be?

NM - commentator has got my back :P

"The first Olympic swimming events in 1896 were held outdoors in the open waters of the Bay of Zea. Swimmers took to the choppy water in 55-degree weather and followed a course marked by a series of hollowed-out pumpkins. Open-water swimming will return to the Olympics in Beijing with the 10,000m marathon event."

From the "Trivia" tab - the pumpkin line makes me giggle.

Edit - whoa.... formatting is all off, but you can still follow gold, silver, bronze andthen the placings

Davies took off with about 1K to go (after leading most of the race), got a couple body lengths, the Dane came up and caught the draft, then Davies went way left (he had been weaving all day long, if he could learn to swim straight he definitely would have won).  Dane went straight to the timing mat.  Davies came back and almost caught him, but fell 1.5 seconds short.
