Splash and Dash #3 Oct. 4th

I'll be there - I will be the one bringing up the rear on the swim, being circled by the kayakers.

Can't swim 500m yet. Soon. Soon I will be back.

I'll be there fo'shoI hope to set a PR for the 5K but I'm doing a 50mile ride and 45 minute run brick on Friday so we'll see how fresh I am. I'll probably sink to the bottom of TTL. At least I won't be the only one down at the bottom. I'm sure there are a few missing hobos and meat-head frat boys down there.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one.  Kim and I will be out of town for the next two weekends for the Albuquerque Balloon Festival.  We have 10 days of flying, tailgating and drinking (yes in that order) to participate in.  I guess I'll see how the training goes but the bike is coming along. 

I am still up in the air on this. I want to do it to practice racing in my wetsuit. I am really hoping the PBR Offroad will be wetsuit legal.

I was going to but now I see that it is only a 500m swim and 5K for the same cost? I may wait until race 5 which is 1500 5k. I was really disappointed to see the shorter distance swim.

Ok, I am in. I just signed up. The water temp was 79 this morning so I will be bringing my wetsuit to practice getting out of that thing fast for the PBR and Soma.

Ok I thought i saw Moto, but wasnt sure. Didnt see Bry. But then again I was Pre-ride/running the course. If I new this was going on I would have jump in the water and didnt it without a number. Or at least put one on with a bick pen..

Yep, I was there I thought I saw you wandering through after I finished. I had a pretty good race. I finished 10th overall and 3rd in my age. I PR'ed the 5k portion with a 21:08. Brian was there also, he also got a PR on the run.

Man I cant believe I mis eveyone. I would have done this race if I had only knew ahead of time... Good job to the two of you..
