Just our first draft, but I tentatively plan the following:

Ottawa Early Bird Sprint - Mid May

Lakeside I - Long sprint

Guelph Lake I - TAT

Cdn 113 (aqua bike- 1.9km swim/90km bike) - Ottawa, Mid July -

Bluewater Olympic - late July

Barrie Sprint - Early August

Cobourg Olympic - mid August

Wasaga Olympic - late August

Lakeside II - Long sprint - mid September

Would like Bluewater to be my first Olympic because it is flat.  Checked out the course last week and rode the bike route.    Would like to do one or more TAT's - still trying to get a PB time on that distance.   Also doing some run races in April.

 Cool

If I can remain injury free, I'll do these duathlons:

Belle River

Leamington Tomatoman

Windsor Tim Hortons

Sarnia Bluewater oly

Chatham-Kent Bulldog

K-town - recently visited Kingston for the first time, moving my daughter into Queens - great venue.

and I'd really like to do some 5k and 10k races for the first time; I need to focus on my running speed  for next season, and if my knees hold out and my time to train stays on track, maybe a 1/2 mary.

Just checked out the K-town tri web site and the long course looks like something we will HAVE to set as a goal for 2010.    If we can have a successful year doing Olympic distance next year (meaning injury free), I think it might be a realistic, achievable goal.   As usual, my tendency to get ahead of myself is showing. Cool

I'll do Milton, Leamington and Guelph to start the season, and then concentrate on longer races. I'm signed up for Muskoka again and may do Steelhead again as well.

I am terrified to admit that I signed up for Timberman 70.3...still shaking in my boots over that one, it will be my first HIM.

Also plan the Hypothermic Half in Ottawa at the end of January.

Maybe another half in May, ING Ottawa Half Marathon

Other than that we'll see how HIM training goes and if my body cooperates by staying injury free!!!

If you want to register for IMLP you pretty much have to be on-site the day after the race to register. There were a tiny few spots that went for sale online but it closed up in minutes. This applies to almost all NA IM branded races.

Hi Gang. I have registered for the Muskoka 70.3 in Sept next year. I only did that on Friday so there might still be some spots available.
I'll probably do Lakeside one long tri and Guelph one OlyI'm not sure about other races. Owen Sound was a good one. A lot will depend on the timing as my A race will obviously be the HIM.
Next year will be my first Oly and HIM.

I'd like to do just one tri or 1/2 marathon...anywhere...anytime in 2009....with my wife.

2008 was a write off season for both of us.

 ps....Breast cancer sucks!
