Subject: New User - Training for first Tri Smithfield Sprint, April 2009LookHey - wanted to post here to introduce myself. My wife and I are both just starting our Tri training to be ready for the April 2008 Smithfield Sprint in Smithfield, VA. We are both runners and looking to branch out and challenge ourselves. I'm also just getting over an ITB injury and know that changing my training and adding new endurance activity will help me. We're both doing 5 days a week training, long run, long swim, long bike, short run, and bike/swim or bike/run with 10% increases 3 out of 4 weeks a month. and 25% decrease for the 4th week of the month.
