Vaugely related to these fertility related threads, my husband of 3 yrs and I have decided to take a first plunge (or second, if you count our two cats) into parenthood. We adopted a black lab/ blue heeler cross this past weekend. We named him Tango, and he's ~ 3mo. old. The first for me, but not for my husband!

ok, for whatever reason my text didn't get edited. the pup in the second photo is going to be Tango's little brother, he's six wks, and we'll be picking him up this weekend! we wanted two dogs, and figured, why go through housetraining twice...

Awwwwwwwww! Very cute!
You won't regret having 2...they'll keep each other busy and wear each other out playing.
Congrats

Adorable! I wish mine fit in the kitchen sink! I gave them baths today and definitely ended up more wet than they did!Yes...two are GREAT! Mine play all day! I catch them chasing each other around the yard all the time!Only 'disadvantage' to two that I have found so far is that it's harder to find friends who will take care of TWO while you are gone. Most people will take one dog for a weekend...but two is tough. And I hate to separate them...they get depressed.Enjoy your cuties!

Cute, cute and cute!  I can't stand it...I love puppies.  I wish my Reuben fit in the sink, I have to put on a bathing suit and take him in the shower with me and use the removeable shower head to chase him around the tub.  All this for a dog who will swim in the Hudson River for hours.....
