I would think that the AG triathlete’s with top end bike splits would fair very well in these Time Trial races considering they average around that 26mph range for the 24-25 miles plus swimming and running yet. If you were an elite, then I'd agree with you possibly. I'm one of the faster cyclists locally in tris (usually finish in the top 5 - 10% of the bike field with a few top 3 splits in smaller races ) and I even usually finish somewhere in the middle/front of the Cat. 5 field in a cycling TT. It's a different world. I would guess you would not be anywhere close to 29 myself ......... |
