Welcome! I know how you feel...I love to bike, could do without running, and I am just not a good swimmer. I have found that I like the variety of training for all three. I also found a beginning swim seminar which really helped me and made me a little more excited to get in the pool! Good luck!

Welcome to the site, I'm pretty new also, but everyone here is very motivating. I'm a terrible runner and not so great at biking. I used to be a swimmer when I was young, but I'm not so great at that anymore either. I'm trying a sprint triathlon in Aug. as well, so if I can do it so can you!!! Good luck! Sounds like you have the biking down, so just practice your swimming and you'll do great! We'll both get through this- hehe!!!

Welcome on board. I’ll be doing my first sprint tri in August as well after many years of doing nothing. Rubbish at the swim- bad at the bike and can’t run – besides that I’m fine!!

You just have to be disciplined and work out a training pattern that works for you. Remember that you may get away with 30 to 40 minute sessions on each discipline 2 to 3 times a week. Check out the couch to sprint programs on this site – they are very good!

GO FOR IT!!!
