The roads are in pretty good shape, they've been doing some patch jobs here and there. Does anyone know if the swim still ends at the barge where they have to hoist you out while you try to find the ladder? Trav |

The roads are in pretty good shape, they've been doing some patch jobs here and there. Does anyone know if the swim still ends at the barge where they have to hoist you out while you try to find the ladder? Trav If you did it in 2005 you probably did it alone, as that was the year of Katrina. Rusty hasn't mentioned any changes, so I guess the swim exit is still the same. |

You will start at this location swim counter clock-wise and exit the water as we have done in the past (on the barge). Really looking forward to this one. Even thought BR is pretty close may get a room at the Days inn so I can sleep in a little. I am assuming the bike racks are First come, first serve? |

IIRC (it's been two years  ), the racks have assigned ranges, but position on the rack is FCFS. |
