New user 5 | Subject: RE: Aflac Iron Girl Roll Call After training for months for my first triathlon, the Irongirl, I just found out I have a stress fracture in my left foot. I am SO disappointed, I can't stand it. Don't know what to do, but I'm thinking running would not be good for me. Should I call contact the race and tell them? Do they have a waiting list of people wanting to compete?

I don't know if they have relays at this race or not, but if they do, could someone run for you? Then you could contact the RD about it. I'll be out there volunteering and cowbelling! Jones ran with my friend (who finished dead last in her first triathlon due to some mechanical problems) across the finish line which was really cool to see. (I sent and inquiry to them after they changed the wording on the site from "Tell the guard you are with Irongirl and you wont have to pay" to " everyone pays $8") I am hoping that we can all slide by but who knows. |
