It maybe a little old school and I have noticed a lack of love for Plasma 1's recently but it works great for me. Only two frames I would trade this in for, a Plasma 2 or Javelin Lugano.

Dude! I'm right there with you. I can't call it old school since it's really my first tri specific bike but man do I love it!

2008 Scott Plasma LTD

and my old 2003 Giant TCR Aero-1 demoted to a roadie!

Hey Bob, I just noticed you still have the DURAPULSE sticker on there! I'll have to get you in touch with coach Nick, he owes you some advertising $!
Is the ZOOT sticker still on the other side?

I saw the DP sticker too...my first thought was "Nick didn't say anything about that hydro system??"

Nice ride, though!

PennState - 2009-06-26 6:02 PM Isn't that "Never Reach" hydration system almost as aerodynamic as an open parachute Bob?

Not at all Fred. I have heard comments, as I go by people, about a hemmeroid coming out of my a$$. All in all I love the hydration system and it's easy to fill on the fly. I'll probably start with LP with it empty and grab a bottle at the first aid station, don't need the extra weight for that first looooooong climb.

It is old school for triathletes that tend to go for the latest greatest thing within the last 6 months. I saw soo many plasmas going dirt cheap this year. I though of selling mine and moving up to a Plasma 2 but couldn't justify selling the bike at market value. It was working so well for me. I really really love how it rides. Damn the aero graphs and magic numbers, the bike is fast and comfortable. I know I can go 112 miles on if comfortably and still be able to hobble out 26.2 more "run" miles afterwards.
