Champion 26509 Sydney | Subject: Francaise Des Jeux Welcome to the Tour De France, Your team line up for this year is: bbmoozer juniperjen kvesey mav maverick_zh owl_girl sappho96 Sledge tritwinmom wieczynski
The French team, Francaise Des Jeux with be one to watch for breakaway stages as they attempt to get their jerseys some television time as well as taking advantage of the opportunities they provide for stage wins. Well known riders looking to contest stage wins will include Sandy Casar and Christophe Le Mervel who love to get in among the action and have a go when given the chance!
Just a quick reminder that the challenge rules are posted in the original sign up thread but if there are any queries please let me know! Also... the one rule I need to remind you about is NO posting of information from the live Tour De France in team threads until AT LEAST 24 hours after it has occurred. This is to allow people to watch repeats or time delayed coverage without having their viewing destroyed by knowing the end result! Have a great July... no doubt I will pop in occassionally. Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: Francaise Des Jeux I forgot to introduce myself. Oops! My name is Tracy. I have an 11 week old baby so getting my workouts done is quite a challenge. I sure missed these challenges while I was pregnant! I couldn't miss this one, though! Most of my bike time will be on my trainer while baby is asleep in his bouncy chair or in Spinning class, which I teach. Cheers! |

I have a 6 year old son so I can thoroughly identify juggling computer, family, training, kids, work, home stuff.... Happy 4th! And since I've been to France a few times, I will enjoy being 'Frenchy' on this team. Who has the baguettes and brie? |

Expert 683 Lafayette, CA | Subject: RE: Francaise Des Jeux Hello! My name is Geoff. I think I've been on challenges with about half of you guys. Including maverick_zh, Sledge and Sappho96 who were on my TdF team from last year--led by the mighty Thor. Too bad that the TdF didn't start yesterday. I biked 65 miles. :-( I was able to watch him win a stage at the Agmen Tour of California. This month I have the Vineman 70.3 race. My biking has suffered this year. So I'm really looking to this challenge to get my butt in gear. TriWinMom--I'll be racing over in your side of the world later this year. Owlgirl--raising a child is a true endurance event. Congrads--and well done on getting your 5K done today. Sappho96--you have my support for el presidente for life! I know nothing about Francaise Des Jeux--so I look forward to learning more. Master 2629 brummie land | Subject: RE: Francaise Des Jeux bienvenue my fellow teamies. couple of quick fdj rules - can we all get our avatars with francaise des jeux on and change our signatures to ALLEZ LES TREFLES BLEUS (which translates as go blue clovers). kaqphin is currently preparing the spreadsheets and once they're up we can all log in with our goals and what we've ridden so far. to make my life easier i'd prefer it if everybody updated themselves on the spreadsheet but i am willing to mop up and shout encouragement from the hilltops! also i'll do us a teamlink boxie thingy later so we can stalk encourage each other during le tour
love saph the captain |

It's brutally hot and humid here lately (I feel like the weatherman, as often as I write about the weather on my blog!). But it looks like we have some more reasonable weather coming soon. Maybe I'll feel more like biking then!!?? I hope everyone has a wonderful day! |
