My tentative schedule after coaxing the wife this morning:
1). Out of work at 5 p.m.
2). Depending on traffic and speed, home by 5:40 p.m.
3). Grab a quick bite and change of clothes, perhaps, and head to Waterloo for a meeting for the Aug. 29th triathlon since kid's will be doing it.  Meeting is from 6 - 7:30 p.m., but I think it's more or less sign-up and pick up some info.  I may volunteer.
4). Get our azzes down the road by 6:30'ishish.
5). Arrive at festival parking by 7:30ishish?

I had an Octoberfest brat with lotsa sauerkraut, but NO beer.  WHAAAA??  Okay, I didn't have a taste for the Miller, but the other stuff was a little more pricey and we didn't bring enough cash with us to splurge on the hopps goodness.

Now, can someone 'splain to me why a German-dressed band at a German Fest that plays German songs would be playing "The Macarena"??  REALLY??

No beer owing here.  It was all about getting out and meeting/socializing.
