I did last year but won't this year.

I'd suggest finding a local place and design it now or soon and if you want to add your race number on when it is assigned then just add that in and its a go.

A thing to consider is color as you want them easy to spot so unique and bold colors are good.

Oh IM Canada numbers are to be up tomorrow this discussion reminds me.

My Dad and boyfriend had them made so I'm not sure where they got them from. Sorry.

They say: Official KSH Ironsherpa

Another thought I'd add is by putting to much race specific information makes them useless at another race. If I make up shirts again I'd do something more generic so my family could wear it to any race I do. Now that my husband and daughters race maybe even something along the line of our last name so we could wear it to any race..get a lot more wear out of it.

Karen's shirt reminded me of that thought.

Wicking Zorel shirts are really nice.

I did last year. Had a friend who was a graphic artist come up with the logo.

A girlfriend and I were suppose to race together but she broke her shoulder labor day weekend. We had to quickly change the design but it all worked out.

We will have shirts as well this year

My husband is getting them done for him, my parents, my sister, and her husband.  It's going to be a surprise!

If you google "custom tshirt" or something similar you'll find a lot of options!

My dad made them for my first IM. I did IMLP and my WHOLE family was there (my wife, my 2 kids, my parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, all three of their spouses, six nieces and nephews, my wife's parents, her sister and brother-in-law)

The shirts said "IronMan Lake Placid 2006" on the front and the back said "Go Dennis", "Go Uncle Dennis", or "Go Dad" as appropriate. I had one too that said, "I'm Dennis". My dad made us all wear them for checkin and they wore them again on race day.

I priced out shirts for my preggo sister and friend that came out to spectate for me and my husband at IMFL.  The custom screenprinted shirts were pretty pricey because of the low volume (in the neigborhood of $25 per shirt).  I ended up getting clearance Ts from Walmart, then buying iron-on lettering from Michael's.  Ended up being only about $6 per shirt.  The shirts say, "Team Cheric Ironfan" (our names are Cheryl & Eric and we made the M and F like the Mdot).  I had to cut up some of the iron-ons to make it work.

Another funny idea I had was to wait until we got to PCB to have airbrushed shirts made for them...there are airbrushing places all over the place there!  I'm sure they could've done an Mdot with a rainbow or something airbrushed in the background!  Laughing

My wife had these made up for IMLP. She had them made up at a local print shop that evidently did not have a problem with the trademark Ironman logo.

I designed this for a buddy in 2005. Sorry for the crappy pic, it's all I have right now. Still have the shirt though. He knew a screenprinter, so we only paid $5 a piece. Under the logo is his (long) last name. I thought it looked pretty cool, although I'm sure NAS wouldn't appreciate the use of the logo. Then it had a quote on the back.

My wife is designing something for my support crew (IMWI), but I haven't seen it yet. She's paying somewhere in the neighborhood of $8-$10/shirt, plus a small art fee.

I made them for my husband last year for IMLou...

the "i" in Mike was dotted with the fleur de lis. Looking back, I wish I had done them on a really bright colored shirt to help us stand out more on the sidelines.

But the shirts turned out great and we still wear 'em around the house.
