Nice Relaxing Massage with a SNAKE!

Extreme Veteran  326  |  Subject: Nice Relaxing Massage with a SNAKE!So I took my wife to Chateau Elan Resort and Spa for her birthday. She wanted a quality day together and a massage so I purchased a "couples massage" for the both of us  Before the massage, the resort allows you to you to use their facilities (indoor pool, sauna, steam room etc). So we decided to go to the pool and swim around and relax prior to the massage. As I was reaching for the ladder, I noticed somthing was on it (litterally I was about 3"-6" away).....how about a water moccasin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep nothing like a poisonous snake in the pool to get you going! As I layed down for the massage, the lady comments "My you seem tense"......NO |

We had a pool when I was a kid and one time I dove in and came back up almost face to face with one of our friendly local rattlesnakes. Cue jesus lizard girl to the ladder! That combined with several other bad snake incidents and I can hardly even see one on TV without my spine leaving my body. And you just reminded me that I had a snake nightmare last night.  |

Moccasins would be curled up in the corners like coils of rope. Darn things would roll out of trees and splash next to the boat. Aggressive things! I couldn't imagine one on the ladder to a pool! |
