Yes.  Something light.  Like a bagle and peanut butter or a couple granola bars.

I usually have a cup of coffee and drink water to hydrate as well.  Maybe a GU if I can remember.

I just eat a regular breakfast... Multigrain Cheerios with blueberries, one slice wheat toast w/ sugar free jelly.  OR a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries, skip the toast, add banana.

I ll have a power bar or a cliff bar about an hour before the race too.  maybe a sports drink 1/2 watered down.  Save the high test stuff for afterward.

You have to fuel the machine before the race!

I ate some toast w/ peanut butter and water before I left the house.  Once at the race, after check in and transition set up, I snacked on an energy bar and a sports drink until my wave started.

Two bagels with honey for me. But, I wouldn't advise you do anything on race day you haven't done in training.

The morning BEFORE a race? Sure, chow down all you want!

The morning OF a race? It's a good idea to have some calories a few hours before start, but practice it first. Nothing new on race day.

15 miles into a 40k is no time to find out that a PBJ sandwich before the bike gives you the runs...

Yes.  2 Eggo waffles with butter and syrup, a banana, water and coffee.  More sips of water and some Gatorade while waiting for the race and a gel about 45 min before the start of the swim.

English muffin (whole wheat) with peanut butter and a banana on top.  But, that (with or without the banana) is what I have before a lot of my runs/bike rides/swims so I know my stomach can handle it.  Don't be practicing anything the day of a race.

For me, it depends on the distance. For a sprint, or a 5k or 10k run, I'll have a good dinner the night before, some gatorade the morning of, and forego breakfast.
