Subject: How to hang your bike for the winter???

Hanging hooks to hang bike up for the winter in garage.... I have a TREK 1000 nothing fancy.  Is it better to hang by front wheel or rear wheel?

Hang bike up for the winter?  What's that? 

Just kidding.  Actually I hang mine year round but use this rack to hang by the top tube.  I like it because I can also do much of the bike maintenance on it as well.

doesn't matter which wheel. I hang several bikes alternating up and down so I can put them closer together.

Seriously though, Houston, winter?... enough of a winter that you are hanging up your bike? Really?

I don't think she's in Houston any longer.

But to answer your question, you hang it on the friggin'  trainer and ride it four or five or more times per week.

Yeah - I'm not longer in Houston - I'm up in the PA - Pocono mountains now!  Winter is coming YEAH..... I have a spinner in basement so no need for trainer.  Just need to know if it makes a difference to hang by front or rear wheel.
