Hey everyone, short notice but I had a thought while I was in the shower this morning...well two thoughts really but one had to do with you guys! What do you all think about a December ABS challenge that puts BC against the world? We can put our % of goal to achieved and see who comes out on top....lemme know quickly, I'll PM a few others that are forum shy to try to bring them in. Respond back to this thread, not to me!

No Leah... it is I.  I thought it would be funny to reply so promptly and with enthusiasm!  Chris did laugh at your response as it does look like something he would say!!

I'm fairly new to BT, can you explain a little about what this challenge would entail?

Well corstan, I'll explain, it'll make you into a hard walkin', smooth talkin', fit movin', beach ownin', edgy hardcore sexy eye turner.

Rules for the challenge are simple; 1) set a goal of the number of ab workouts you'll do for the month (each week of dec.) 2) At the end of each week, you report your total number (no cheating, you'll get a flat on your next race). 3) We tally all the scores up from the week. 4) We compare them with the rest of the world and see who is going to look better at New Year's with their shirts up over their heads while they dance the night away covered in champagne and celebrating the victory. So far not too many takers. I know that if I throw this up on the challenge forum, it will be eaten up in 1 day! So let's get on this everyone!

As a rule, from most other AB challenges, you need to do between 8-15 exercises to make it count but the real number can be left up to you. BT has a great number of AB / CORE routines to pick from and NO!!!!! Yoga and Pilaties doesn't count!!!! SIT UPS! CRUNCHIES! YEAH!!! THOSE COUNT!

I'm already in the midst of the 100 pushup & 200 situp challenge so yeah, I'm up for this.

Shouldn't we have a set routine that everyone is doing for consistency?

BTW - do we post naked before & after pics?

I haven't talked to Chris yet, but I wanted to let everyone know he was called out to Sparwood (where ever that is?!?!) to help clean up a rollover....not too sure if he's still looking after this, next month maybe? If / when I talk to him, I'll ask him

Hey everyone, sorry I'm late, hazard of the job. I didn't get a chance to put anything out to the world. So how about starting today, we do an in house challenge? We can do a Boys vs. Girls format. I've got a spreadsheet together so just sound off and let me know you want in....and once you're in, you're in. I'll need to see a doctor's note if a medical reason comes up, but that's about it.
Rules:
1) Workouts have to be 15-20 minutes long (hey! Christmas is coming and we need to stay hard!)
2) Any ABS routine will be allowed, change it up if you need to, just keep the workouts coming
3) If you miss a workout or two, you can make it up for the next week.
3) Post your workouts on the forum page, I'll collect the numbers, tally everything and let the sexes know who is the stronger.
Let's get some smack talk going out there as well, nothing motivates abs to get harder than being laughed at, but keep it fun! PM me or post on the forum your planned number of workouts per week and let's get it started!!!!! I'm going to go for 3 w/o per week and use the BT Hardcore ABS routine and the P90X AB Ripper as well!
Hope that is all clear, let me know if there is any confusion and good luck!

Well, I am back from the boonies and THE HAZ has told me to get on over here and start doing crunches or something stupid like that.

So...I will do what Haz does.

AND I AM TOTALLY POSING NAKED!

OK, I'll do 3 workouts per week - that's definitely doable.  We just need to let you know once a week that we did them, right?

My abs are in a sorry state - this is good timing.

Going to try and do 3 time every days off.

Thats 9 times. Try and get some done on my split day. But 9 is doable.

uhmmmmm...  if it is alright with everyone, I'd prefer to be listed as being on the Boys Team .... I am always called Mr. T at work  Laughing
I am striving for three Ab workouts a week.
