How many kids?

Five

22 year old daughter, moving to La Jolla on Tuesday, she's leaving the nest.  I can't wait to go visit her! 

17 year old daughter, graduating from HS on Monday night, Miss Independent!  Look out world.

16 year old son, starting his first paying job tomorrow  at  Extremely Board (skateboard, wakeboard, and snowboard shop).  Can you believe it, we in the store one day and the owner asked him if he wanted a job there!  Too cool, snowboarding is his #1 passion, skateboarding is #2 passion, If he could snowboard year round he would only have one passion.

13 year old son, changes girlfriends weekly....when will he get over the mourning after a break-up?  I don't get it, he always has a new girlfriend within a day or two.  Times have changed since I was a kid, girls call him constantly.  My mom wouldn't let me call boys.

11 year old son, he made the Little League All-Star Team last night, Yeah!

That's all... 

One boy who will be 3 on July 3rd.  Kid can swing a baseball bat almost better than his father.  He has baseball on the brain, so now I have 2 boys who will be driving me crazy with baseball every summer.

I think it will be time to try for a girl soon to even out the house (and no, it does not count that the dog is a girl). 

One five year old gril. She's my:

Best Buddie, occasional training partner/full-time coach, Boss-of-Me, etc... There's nothing like it. I grew up with brothers and couldn't imagine what I would do as the dad of a little girl. It's awesome. She routinely kicks me a$$ at every game known to man, and she spent 30 minutes Monday trying her best to convince me that 5 minus 2 is actually 4. I think she may be right. I don't know at this point.

She's dying to be 7 so she can do the Ironkids or TriAmerica Kids Tri.

I have two kids.  A girl (15) and a boy (13).  They are awesome.  It's a wild ride having kids, just let me say.  Just when you think you've got the parenting thing figured out, they go and get older on you and start doing entirely new stuff. 

You think that it seems like forever sometimes when they are 2 or 3, but man, let me tell you, it flys by.  It seems like I blinked and these little kids grew up, are as tall as (or taller than me) and saying "Oh, mom" all the time.  (I'm not quite mature enough for them, especially my daughter. )

We have a great time though - and they are great kids.  A couple of years and they will be going off to college.  I swear, I'm not old enough to have kids in college.

I surely hope TriComet does know this.  Now a guy, on the other hand...  But for a girl, it's kind of hard to miss that childbirth thing.
