Subject: March Site Update

Lot's of updates both big and small.  Please post any issues/errors too!
First, the small stuff:

1 - Safari/Chrome Rich Text Editor support
2 - Blog friends up to 200
3 - Graphs (trisports and health) now support multi-year option
4 - Album security updated to your log's 'privacy settings'
5 - Facebook and Twitter badges for articles.

And....(Drumroll)....

1 - GOALS
Within your 'training log' settings tab.  You're going to like this... (though blame anything on mike, he did this...)

In the box where you type your reply, the font is now tiny. However, after you post it does appear in the thread at normal size.

The forum search is still squished.

The goals interface is really nice. Maybe I'm missing it, but is there no way to edit an existing goal short of deleting it and making a new one? That would be nice for revising goals.

Trying refreshing your browser cache, that should clear it up.

That was intentional. If a goal isn't being met, a new one should be created, which is functionally the same as editing it.

The intent was to create something of a mental barrier to editing goals to meet the actual results. No fudging.

I tried playing with the goals section and it said "The page cannot be displayed...." and now I can't even get to my blog.  I tried using IE8 and Mozilla on 2 different Vista computers.  I also refreshed the cache.  No Joy.  Maybe it laughed since I put in outrageous goals.

when I click on the "edit" button from my main training page all I see is a bunch of competer stuff?/  code? I'm not sure what it is.

when I was on the setting function under trainging options-- training plans -- it wouldn't let me back out to the other screens and just sat there.

I've deleted the goals that were causing the problem.

Can you remember exactly what you entered right before the error was displayed?

I was entering a goal by March 31 to swim 50,000 yards for 1 continuous month.  I just tried entering it again with IE8 and it gave me the same error.  This time it didn't kill my blog; it just killed the goals section.

Ok, good to know, it's probably related to the swim yardage, I'll work on it this morning.

If you look at the swim totals in my training logs you'll understand why it wouldn't occur to me in a million years to test that particular goal before we released this...

This should be all set. Now on to the small font size in the editor thing...

I created a weight goal, but I got an error when I opened my training log and was unable to access my training log.  I had to back up and delete the weight goal to get into my training log.  I hadn't entered a weight yet, so I did that.  Then I was able to create a weight goal and have it work right.

Woot!!  I've been waiting for goals.  You guys RAWK.

I just entered one, tagged it as displaying on the sidebar, and then wished I had put it on the dashboard.

Went in to edit it to change the location, and I couldn't find a place to do that.  Ended up deleting the goal and recreating.

Possible to edit the location of the goal after it's created?

I deleted the problem goal. It was the running one.   I can't make it happen myself and there don't seem to be any other occurrences of it.

If this happens again, can you let me know the values you entered in the form?

Thanks for the cool goals module, guys! One thing - I just entered some weight goals, but the graphs in my training log don't seem to work as planned. The dates on the X-axis are overlapping, and the Y axis is all 0s. There are no data points on the chart even though I entered my weight...is there a way to tell it what data to show? I'd love to see the weight by week or something...

Yeah, that graph is terrible, we'll be redoing it. Small graphs are tough, particularly when dealing with potentially large datasets.

BTW, I'm seeing it in your log. Awesome progress since the beginning of the year!
