ok guys, I am going to post my plans for the FL 70.3 preparation here in this thread soon.
On the 25th July I will have my IM Switzerland. then 1 week off and from August the 2nd I will be back on the road. It will be a 15 weeks program, custom made by myself, with Power training on the bike. I think a week by week update can be nice, where everybody can say his opinion.

My planning for the bike is to start from week starting August the 2nd with JorgeM winter cycling plan to boost my threshold again. It worked great during winter and now it is the right time to build it up again.

For swim and run I am going to post separately my first 2-4 weeks again starting August the 2nd.

ok guys. I did on the 26th July my Ironman Switzerland and I did a great race. Then 1 week vacation on the beach where I only did running and swimming in the sea.
This week back in track. I posted the swim plan, first 2 weeks. I will start the Jorge Winter plan for cycling plus a week end 4th ride for a longish 3-4hrs and for running this week I will do 3 training sessions:
1) 12x300meters on track with 200meters jog recovery.
2) 10km easy jogging and then last 5km speed increase every km, starting at the Tempo run speed and then every km increasing 5"/km
3) sunday running race 7km all out

I plant to swim, bike, and run a bit between now and Nov. to get ready.

Got my slot today at Lk Stevens 70.3

Will take it easy for a week or two and then put together a training plan for Clearwater. I've got some nasty shin splints going on that I need to take a break from running to help clear up.

Thinking swimming and biking training for a bit and then ease back into running.

Also got my spot at Lake Stevens this past weekend.  Booked my flight (Thurs & Mon) and hotel (Hilton).  Now I'm wondering if we have to check-in for the race 2 days in advance (we did at IMCDA).  That would not be good since my flight gets in around 7 on Thursday.  Also reserved a rental car, but not sure I'll need one.  Will check to see if the hotel has a shuttle.  It might make sense to save the $400 and just stay out at the beach all weekend.  I swear I will get in the pool before this race!

I'm in! Got the slot at the Boulder 70.3.
Wife already booked flight on Frontier, got a condo, and rental car. I think she wants to leave tomorrow! BTW, from what I read: Frontier, Southwest and JetBlue have the cheapest and best bike policy in the US.
Congrats all!

From what I can tell from reading the race reports, it looks like it is usually a wetsuit-legal race.
