Here's a quick pic of the my new/and first tri bike discussed in the earlier Felt thread. Thought some folks might like to see what the new '11 Felts were going to look like.

Interesting... How'd you get your hands on a 2011??  It wasn't until sometime around November last year that we even got to see pics of the 2010 lineup...  I think...

Very cool.

This year is going to be different.  All of the manufacturers are having to launch 2011's way early because their sales/production forecasts were all garbage.

Felt's website doesn't even show the B16 yet.  You must know somebody that knows somebody!  So, there's a 2011 B16 and a DA.  Where's the B2?

I'm looking forward to a new bike for 2011 season and Felt is one of the ones I have been leaning towards.  I really like the looks of your new toy.  Congrats!

I work at a LBS here in Dallas and we just got a shipment of the B16s in.  They are pretty sweet and getting alot of attention, I'm curious to see what the rest of the line looks like.

They just 'showed up'.
Went in looking for a new bike and was told all the '10's were not in my size, in short supply or gone...then he says "Well, I do have something over here that just came in, but it is still in the box...."
That's about it.

Nice bike! Although I'm kind of disappointed they aren't using the 2011 DA mold on their lower end 2011 carbon frames.

Verah nice!!  Beware those nifty little grips on the pursuit bars though.  They will slide around on you.  I almost wiped out on my Felt that has those as I was pulling hard on a climb.  I have learned a way to hold on so they won't slip now but I'd rather not have to think about it.  Planning to cut 'em off and wrap bar tape instead one of these days.

Probably more so than a 50/50 split..also, after now having put in quite a few miles, a few changes are in order over the basic initial set up seen in the pic.

Tyrell,

Thanks for the heads up!
Also, I have come to the conclusion that the gel arm rests need modified in some way because they get awfully slick with perspiration down here in the FL humidity...

My first tri bike as well.  The "Team Green" Speedplays match almost perfectly!

I found out the hard way on this and almost lost a couple of times. My solution was strips of medical bandage tape. It's worked well so far.

I'm beginning to think I am the only one whose B16 did NOT come with the white tires...

I liked the arm rests when I first saw them, but they aren't particularly comfortable, and I imagine they would be slippery when wet. I have heard good things about CeeGees so I think I will be picking up some Cushies.

Loving the bike so far. (Purchased Nov. 1st)

I did a short ride yesterday, but I made it a brick so I am pretty sore.  Even so, the temp is in the 60s now so I'm probably going to go out again today.

I find my comfortable, but you imagine correct.  They are pretty slippery when wet.

same thing happened to me on my B14.  i took black electrical tape to them, and they work just fine (like most things in triathlon, electrical tape and black zip ties fix just about all of it).
