I started at Michigan Technological University, and transferred to the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) when my ex graduated from MTU and got a job in MN. (I much preferred Michigan Tech. :-) )

Ah yes, Michigan Tech (where I started, although I was one of the handful of non-engineering students) and Col. School of Mines - the two geekiest engineering schools around. :-) I think every engineer I know (a lot) went to one or the other.

Where didn't I go? Grand Valley State in Michigan then some Junior College stuff as I changed majors as fast as my oldest son changes girlfriends). Eastern Michigan then. I am actually finishing my degree this coming spring.
