Yanti said it perfectly in November, so I will just steal borrow her words!

"WELCOME!

There are two things certain about this challenge:

1. Crushers are a team
2. YOU PICK up to four goals. ANY life-improving goals. You want to train? Firm the waistline? Meditate? Knit? GREAT!

You're welcome to join the Crushers (BEYOND chatty, but oh-so-welcoming ... we don't make you challenge us to see if you're worthy of our team :D ), the Ghoulies are welcome to have their own team if they like, or whatever, and we'll see how other teams get formed.

For now, please just post in this thread if you want to join. I'll set up spreadsheets in a couple of days, and you'll have until the 5th to finalize goals. In the meanwhile, post, train, log, inspire."

Now, I just need someone computer savvy to put together a spreadsheet and post the links...

I'm in - I don't know what I would do without a challenge and chatting on here.
Not sure of goals right now.
Probably increased cycle mileage building up to a 160k in May, maybe sprints, I need to work on explosive power, stretching....need to work on that massively....and maybe a nutrition based one for the last...will work out the specifics

Thanks Melissa!

Thanks for the alcohol idea Rachel! I have been drenching my feet several times a day, and did it shortly before my 8km run on Sunday. I had no problems! Hopefully this will transfer to longer runs, but only time will tell. This month I have 8km x2 and 10km x2 long runs. Next month I start ramping up on my way to 21!

Here are my 4 goals!

-complete at least 13 run sessions
-eat only non-fast/restaurant food on at least 20 days
-complete at least 25 yoga sessions
-complete 4 components of my teaching portfolio

I have a bad habit of eating out too often and have been working on eating grocery store bought food more.

I need to produce a teaching portfolio and it has been a challenge that I've put off for too long. This month I plan to: prepare a rough table of contents, edit/update educational philosophy statement, select/create artifacts for each of the Ontario standards of teaching, and write a reflective statement for each artifact. Hopefully by the end of April I will have a completed teaching portfolio!

I'm in!  I need to think about goals though...  I am most likely having a carpal tunnel release on the 18th and won't be able to do a heck of a lot after that for a few weeks at least.  Cry

1. to Melissa ... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thanks

2. can't we just cut 'n' paste the spreadsheets from November? Oh crap, did I just volunteer?

3. of course this not-so-fat-but-kinda-flabby-now lazy disappearing barsted is in for March.

HI EVERYBODy!!!

i have no idea what my goals are. Maybe staying alive and trying to keep my cat Suicide alive would be good for starters.

Hm, that's too much thinking for me. I can't even evaluate today, much less life.

1. Ahem, didn't you copy someone else's Pick-Four challenge and spreadsheets? LOL

2. Yes, you can copy them. And yes, you did just volunteer. You rock, btw.

3. Eh, I'm hoping to be in for March. I'm still hacking up lungs though, so I have no idea what kind of goals I can have yet.

4. HI YANTI! I don't think I want to know what Suicide just did......

Generally, when someone wants to consume alcohol, they do it through the mouth, not the feet.
