Hugs and kisses. 2. Warm fuzzy feeling when you see that special person. 3. Cooking dinner 2. 4. Baking for someone. 5. Getting and receiving little surprises (cards, unexpected dates, fun stuff, etc.) 6. Someone who's waiting at the finish line to congratulate me and give me a big hug because he's so proud of me! 7. Uncontrollable laughter and laughing forever! 8. Cuddling. 9. Bear hugs! 10. Someone to wrestle with. 11. Someone who tells me that I'm beautiful and amazing. 12. Massages- I have a permenant knot in my right shoulder! 13. Someone to play with my hair. 14. Someone to call "hone" or "babe". 15. Having someone to take road trips with. 16. Singing together in the car and not caring how bad you both are because it's so much fun! 17. Nice dinner with a glass of wine. 18. Getting dressed up for a night out. 19. Playing X-box for hours competing against each other. 20. Walking on the beach together holding hands. 21. Admiring beaultiful landscape/scenary together. 22. Knowing someone so well that you can finish each other's sentences. 23. Someone to share all your great adventures/life accomplishments with! 24. Smell of men's cologne- only the good kind though. |

Ok I'll contribute, I'm married and most of those things happen at some point in the day/week. It took me to the age of 29 to find the right one. And been together for over 17 years...and counting. I miss being at home and having the significant other (or girl of the moment) walk in after a long day of work and being able to open a bottle of wine for her, pour her a glass, as she sits at the table while I finish cooking the dinner and ask her about her day as we both drink and chat together. Then after dinner, we lay on the couch together and watch a movie! Ok, I am now going to another thread....I think I left my "man card" over there somewhere! |

It's definitely nice to have someone to come home to, to be able to confide in each other and to let down your guard to, to challenge each other, to travel together, to support each other through tough times and to celebrate the good times, to work out together, to feel like someone cares about you and to have someone to care about, having someone to hug and touch, not feeling like the odd man out in social situations where everyone else seems to be coupled up.... |
