Subject: Toronto - most dangerous city in Canada for cycling CBC article says T.O. is most dangerous city in CDN to cycle in. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/city-hazard-cyclists-pedestrians-report-000859909.html "The numbers show that there was a rate of 42 collisions involving cyclists per 100,000 people in Toronto, ahead of Montreal's 38 and Vancouver's 33." I suppose we can take this with a grain of salt - this artical assumes that there are an equal number of cyclists per 100,000 people in each city and/or they cycle the same number of hours per capita. If Toronto cyclists ride more then we should expect to see more accidents. Any thoughs on this? |
