Subject: RE: 8.5.2011 Friday...FinallyDid a duathlon last Sunday and killed it, 3rd OA, first time on podium. Woke up with a cold on Monday and ran 2 miles, then nothing at all the last 3 days. Biked this morning, hill repeats with my friend who is "tapering" for SheRox on Sunday. Our usual course, 9 miles warmup on flats, 12x0.9 mile hill repeat, 9 mile cool down on flats. Stopped twice to cough up a furball and drink water. Not working out this week was making me so crazy. Other than coughing and congestion I felt OK so excess energy made it tough to sit at my desk and work. |
