Member 34![]() | Subject: If you ain't a Gator, you're Gator bait! This thread serves as official start to Nole trash talking. Motivated (aka Dirty Nole) has bet the Stud (El Oso, the one and only) to a friendly bottle of champagne, to be awarded to the winner s/p the Gator's humilation of the Noles on 11/26. Mark it on your calenders - let the mud slinging begin! |

All I have to say is enjoy your trip to the Music City Bowl, I hear Nashville is nice a toasty in December. P.S. Having been raised in FL, I like the Gators. When Shockley went down, I told him it really sucked, because when we beat GA, I didn't want them to have any excuses. What is it, 14 of the last 16, now? You guys always seem to come up with some good excuses.... The UGA v UT game is the one that decides the SEC East rep in the championship. And honestly does anyone believe that with a healthy D.J. we don't win big? Hell had our coach not hog tied Joe T with his calls we could have won anyway. |

Wait, let me go look outside for the flying pigs. Ask Dooley if it matters. Ask the alumni and the students. Ask the contributors to the AD if it matters who wins GA/FL. Wow. I'm speechless. And yes...I believe that if all were healthy, and if Florida scrapped their starters and instead put the Bucholz High JV cheeleaders in Orange and Blue, that FL would still win because FLORIDA ALWAYS BEATS GEORGIA. I am just saying that we went into the game with an undefeated record and no real chance at the National Championship and a great chance to win the SEC. We came out of the game with no real chance to win the National Championship and a great chance to win the SEC. Do I absolutely hate losing this game.....you better believe it! But do I love the fact that UF is still not going to the SEC Championship ( most likely) and is going to end up in Nashville for the Music City Bowl....I do ! I hate losing but I love the fact that UF is back where they were pre Spurrier...an also ran who had little to no impact on the overall SEC. Don't for get the 70's and 80's either UGA OWNED UF....it's cyclical and will turn our way again (sooner rather than later with your coach and his HS offense) |

Granted our schedule has been pretty light but after having LSU the past two years we were due a break..another note...have you noticed that historically the team that has an open date the week before the game usually wins? Last year we had the open date and won, 14 out of the past 16 years UF has had the open date and won....just a curious factoid there. |

We beat two teams ranked #4 when we played them. Our losses have been to the current #4 and #6 (both on the road), and we have another top 10 team (FSU) still left to play. That's 5 top 10 teams. Is there a school in the country that can say that? Does that sound like an easy schedule? Open date: maybe something Dooley would have learned in scheduling games. Hmmm. And yes it makes a huge difference, do you think UF could have changed so much of their offense in a week? When you have teams that are so close in talent and extra week to game plan and heal from injuries, or not suffer injuries at all. Go ahead and enjoy your win, you deserve it, but don't delude yourself into thinking that you have ruined our season or that you matter in the SEC or National picture this year, because you don't and haven't since Spurrier left. Its the same thing that happened at UGA when Dooley retired, we suffered through Ray Goof and Jim (my kid sells drugs to the players) Donnan, I figure that you have to suffer through your Goof (Zook) and Donnan (Meyer) and then you will get a decent coach. |
