Wow, all the things I miss when I work the night shift. My TV watching centers around the occasional bike race / triathlon on the weekend. Monday-Friday I might catch an episode of Extreme Makeover. If I'm lucky there will be something cool on the History Channel. Or perhaps the whiners and complainers on Judge Marilynn Millan (not to mention that she's a Hottie herself...I could break the law just to get the chance to kiss up to her!). When I get home at 1 AM I usually get suckered into watching Blind Date.

My TV watching habits are really shallow!

CSI LV, Lost, House are great, but I caught How I Met Your Mother and Kitchen Confidential last night and they were both very funny. I might give them another week and see if it was a fluke or not.

Seventh Heaven (yesterday), Boston Legal , Law and Order (CI and SVU), ER, Desperate Housewives, House (TONIGHT), Gray's Anatomy.

Also watch the Biggest Loser with the kids- not really a priority, but kid time on the sofa. Can't beat that.

It's a bit much, but it gives me trainer entertainment.

Hey, I love the History Channel. And Blind Date rocks!
What is it you do anyway??

I work for a company that makes parts for nuclear power plants and the military. Lot of submarine and aircraft carrier stuff. And nose-cone's for rockets. Big and/or heavy is our specialty. Projects other companies don't want to tackle.

Are you an engineer Max?

Senior head QA technician. Spent last evening doing ultrasonic thickness measurements of a rocket booster nose cone. Looks like an upsidedown cereal bowl, but lots bigger...12 feet across and 5 feet high, made out of aluminum, but so thin it only weighs 300 lbs.

Oooops sorry for the hijack...back to your regular broadcast!

Since I have permission from Courtney, I will continue to hijack this thread.  I also work in QA too Max! Although my company makes an injectable bST hormone for cows to increase milk production (amongst other things like RoundUp Weed Killer).  Wanna try a free sample?

Will it take 10 minutes off my Oly time? I'm all for that. But not if I have to start wearing a sports bra. I draw the line at the skirt and heels!

It would make you more buoyant in the water for the swim, which would thelp with body position, which would make you faster, thus decrease your swim time.  If you check out the gear/review forum, I am sure you can find a highly reputable sports bra!

YEAH, Boston Legal! (Note the sig...) I'm sure you are well aware than Alan Shore got his Emmy as did Bill Shatner. Well deserved. I liked Grey's Anatomy but I can't BELIEVE it bumped Boston Legal last season!

I like CSI LV, the Animal Planet and Food Network.  Sometimes Discovery and History.  I am a geek.

Max:  I don't like QA people.   They are always giving us (Development) a hard time and tons of paperwork, while we'd rather be running experiments and write simple reports.

I love West Wing but think it's criminal the way it's been butchered since Sorkin left.  Those seasons when Sorkin were on cocaine were some of the best ever written, imho.  Other than that, I don't catch too much tv unless it is on Disney or PBS kids...I homeschool our three children and work part-time as a nurse practitioner...I'm sure my boys would rather that I did something with rockets and nuclear power!!

I just got the DVD set of the 1st season of House and couldn't stop watching it. All of the sudden I've got this infatuation with Hugh Laurie and those gorgeous blue eyes.
This started after watching the 1st show of the new season, which was what, last week?
Funny, I watched a couple of episodes last year and thought it was good but all of a sudden it's my favorite show now.
Also, I watch the History Channel and Baby Einstein videos with my 13 month old.
That's it for my TV.

Last night I sat down to watch Lost. We had a thunderstorm roll through and the ABC affillate had constant coverage - of a thunderstorm! Fortunately I boneheaded and missed the fact that it had been moved to 8 pm so I still got to see the premier. Lots of new twists it looks like!

What I am really waiting for is tonights CSI!
