I was walking my pup this AM and came across this poor girl in the far corner of the park. She'd rubbed her right side raw trying to get out, but otherwise she's ok. Managed to shove her back through when her lungs collapsed to take a breath. She bleated like a sheep! I'd never heard them make a sound other than the snort they make when threatened. She took off for about 400 yards like she was on fire before she slowed down.

Yep, most of the time the doe's and fawns bleat.  I will bleat at them while on my bike passing them and the look I get from them is classic.

Nicely done, BTW.  Good karma coming your way.

The other day a car in front of me stopped right in the middle of the road and got out of her car.   My first reaction was to say what the $%^& is she doing, honk and drive around her.    Then I saw her walking out in front of her car with a box turtle that she had picked up and continued to placed on the side of the road.     Just glad that I didn't go with first reaction.  Rolled down the window and thanked her instead

Good job!

This past summer, I didn't know a nest of baby bunnies were in my yard when I was mowing.  I felt terrible when the babies, probably no more than three weeks old, scurried out of their hiding and one didn't make it.  I helped the other 3 or 4 that I saw trying to escape to a new area.  The high-pitched squeal that they let out scared me since I never heard anything like that before - I thought they were silent animals!

A grown rabbit can scream like a ten year old and just as loud. I discovered this fact when my neighbor's yorkies broke in and were playing tug of war with our rabbit. My poor daughter, 8 at the time, witnessed the whole fiasco.
