Morning Prep Time
OptionResults
Less than 5 minutes...I'm out the door before the sheets get cold
5 - 15 minutes...microwaved coffee and last night's pizza and I'm gone
15-30 minutes...eat breakfast, read the paper, watch the cat take a pee
30 - 60 minutes...all of the above, plus makeup, plus hair
More than 60 minutes...OK this is borderline insanity (you hear me Patti?)
Depends on where I'm going!
Get up, shower, put on clothes, out the door.
the 30-60 minutes one, usually minus the makeup (ie, laziness)
to run?: 3 mins, tops. to work: 1 hr (coffee paper shower shave)
to run?: 5 mins. To work?: 1.5 hr (1hr snooze alarm, 30 minutes get ready)
30 minutes flat. exactly. every day.
waxing the bike??? Is that what it is called nowadays??
This is a multiple choice poll.

How much time does it take you or your S.O. to get ready to head out the door in the morning? I'm talking here about a situation where the alarm clock goes off and you have to be at a specific place first thing. This doesn't include doing the laundry, the dishes, waxing the bike, etc.

Multi-voting so you can chime in for yourself and your frustrating wonderful partner.

I'm pretty low maintenance. Around 30 min. I get up about 6:30-6:45, out the door about 7am.

this morning I woke up at 5:15 and was in the truck on the way to the pool by 5:20. I get up, throw my swim suit on, grab my already packed bags and off I go! I spend 20 minutes the night before packing everything up though, not sure if that should count?

Depends.  If I have a morning workout, it'd be 10 min:  get up, brush teeth, change into workout clothes, drink a glass of juice for the fuel, feed cats, leave house.  Packing the gym bag and cleaning cat litter etc were all done the night before.

If I DON'T have morning training that day, it'll be 30 min: get up, brush teeth and shower, change clothes, feed cats, leave house.

1/2 hour to get out the door.  i'm pretty low maintenance.  That includes waking up, taking a shower, getting dressed, throwing some snacks in my lunch bag, eating a quick breakfast, brushing my teeth and then I 'm out the door.  My drive to work is 20-30 mintues, depending how how excessive I speed.  Did  I mention that I'm low maintenance??

So how much time have you shaved off in getting ready from HS.  I knew people who would take an hour in HS to get ready.

To the lovely women who claim they are "low maintenance," I offer this piece of wisdom from When Harry Met Sally:

Harry: There are two kinds of women: high maintenance and low maintenance.
Sally: Which one am I?
Harry: You're the worst kind. You're high maintenance but you think you're low maintenance.

Well, once I get out of bed (an hour long "hit the snooze button" adventure if I'm left to my own devices), it only takes me 20 minutes (30 for precision shaving/shower snoozing.) to get out the door. It's the 45 minute commute that kills me.

If I'm running, I can be up and out in 5.

takes me 30- 10 minute shower, 10 minutes to get dressed/brush/moisturize 10 minutes to eat breakfast. I can do it in 15 if I eat in the car and I don't have to wash my hair. I really am low maintenance. really. except on dates, then-- I expect the world.

Patti, he'll never understand. Shave off 3 minutes and make a big fuss about how much you have compromised and then get pouty when he is still impatient. Oh wait, that's our house
