The roads were snowy for a little less than half the course making traction a little twitchy.
What would you do differently?:

Not be sick for 2 weeks before the race.

Hung out with Dudley (Dexter here on BT).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Being sick for the 2 weeks prior to the race.
Excess weight (9lbs)
Little to no training in the weeks preceding. I decided to do this the night before.

Sounds like a tough race. Next year do the one in Sunrise, FL. It was about 55 at the start of the race.

Impressive run, especially with the temps, wind and snow.  (I guess it's faster to ice skate than run though!!).  Great job.

Umm, you're upset about that time? I hope you're feeling better, but dang, I think that's a pretty good time. Great Job! And this is a great charity.

I'm running the same race down here in Cincy. I'll be running it with a friend, it will be her first running race--and she's on her way to starting to train for tris!
