Subject: Looking for 10 fat challengers

Okay September 12th I did IMOO and I weighted 138lbs, after some downtime and succumbing to all the indulgences I now weight 160lbs.

I'm looking for 10 other challengers to step up to the scale on Jan 1 2006 and see who can loose the weight.  Good eating habits, exercise and support from 10 people should challenge all of us.  If your interested, sign on with your previous weight and your weight now.  Remember this goal is for 20 pounds.  It took me 2 months to gain it, how long will it take us to loose it.

The only thing you have to loose is some unwanted weight.

I'm in! I don't know about 20 pounds but I can go for 15. I definitely could use any advice that comes this way and support will never be denied. As far as how long i'm going to suggest 3 months for my own selfish reasons - a week-long business meeting and a vacation (both on containing lots of food and drink). I'll have to get a new scale - I had planned a getting one anyway and I'll report my starting weight.

For added impact - why not go crazy from now til New Years?! Just kidding...(maybe)

Good luck hey you might want to take a look at the New Years challenge myself and many others are about to take off on that. I have about 65lbs to loose just a slight more than the 20 you need I cant wait till I am down to my last 20.

Good idea for a Jan 1st challenge -- I'd only encourage you all to keep the weight loss slow and steady...1 pound a week is fine, 2 pounds max (unless you truly have >50 to lose).

You may find other challenge participants among those who couldn't signup in time for previous 'fat massacre' challenges, so you should have no trouble finding your 10 lucky, dedicated challengers! Good luck.

I'm in.  I need to loose 20+ lbs. Don't know if I can loose 20 in two months but I could use some support on the whole wt loss thing.

Okay, it looks like there are only 3 overweight paricipants.  My current weight is 160 as of January 1.  I will put both of you on my buddy list and check your progress.  We should report our weight every Monday morning on this thread.  Time to put the chocolates away and get to work.

I didn't see this previously, but I'll be in if you let me. 214 this morning, want to get back down to 190 by March 31. Was about 187 in mid-September 2004 but have let the weight creep up on me.

I know it's January 3rd but I can honestly say my weight hasn't changed much since the 1st.

My start weight: 166.5
My goal weight: 152
Difference: 14.5 lbs

Looking forward to the challenge. I supect I will gain some next week as I have a week-long business meeting - lots of food and beer and sitting around (oh baby!).

Good luck to all

OK - I put on 10 lbs since the middle of November.  Would love to be 180 pounds but my goal is to get to 200 ( I have not seen 200 in 7 years)  I used to be able to drop 15 to 20 lbs in a heart beat..now...not so much.

Current 224.4 (32.5% BF)

A loss of 20 lbs will put me right where I want to be.

Biggest challenge for me is eating fast food or too big of quantities..especially when I am not working out.

Is it too late to join? I just climbed off the scale and I'm MAD--but I'm going to let it go (and ride).

Just prior to IMLP in 2004, I weighed 172 lbs. My weight, just now is 210. I want to get back to 170-ish again.
