I guess pizza should be considered junk food.  I could eat it for brekfast, lunch and dinner.  From a real junk food perspective trail mix, but not the healthy kind.  The kind with chocolate covered caramel pieces that they sell at Target.  It will definately be in my transition bag for the Florida HIM

Cheesecake with fresh strawberries doesn't sound like "junk" food to me. In fact, it sounds pretty darn good.

Ice Cream-Blue Bell IS the best ice cream in the country, and I've been down many a Rocky Road with them. The stuff is no longer allowed in my house.

Pizza's a distant second.

TASTYKAKES!!! It's a Philly-area thing. I love Tastykake kandy cakes & chocolate cupcakes with cream inside and buttercream icing. Just bought me some today.

Ice cream with hot fudge, either mint choc chip, Breyer's chocolate, or cookies & cream
Ice cream cake
Oreos
Chocolate covered pretzles
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

I eat way more junk food than I should - I just LOVE it. I never go out to eat w/o ordering dessert and I have something chocolate at least once a day. I do eat a lot of healthy foods but I just can't seem to give up the goodies.

Jaffa Cakes.  McVities, of course, not the knock-offs.

The smashing orangey bit is the best thing ever.

Hamdog, can’t say its my favorite because I haven’t tried it, but I have been meaning to. It’s a hotdog wrapped with ground beef then battered like a corndog, deep fried, then smothered with chili. The bar that serves them is right down the street from my house and has received a lot of “hamdog” publicity. I think they sere even on Letterman. They also serve the “Luther,” named in honor of the late Luther Vandros, which is a bacon cheese burger served between two Krispy Creme doughnuts. That one isn’t quite as appealing.

After the first of the year my junkfood is now raw spinach leaves. I have gone hard core. I had to because my prior junkfood was tortilla chips. By the basket.

I could live on ice cream (ben &jerry's NY Super Fudge Chunk, please, or anything else, actually, from any ice cream company) and thin crust cheese pizza and french fries and donuts, the cinammon sugar covereed cider kind, please, or anything else, and dark chocolate. If someone said I could exclusively eat from the above and never gain weight but never again drink wine, it would be a tough choice.

right now, all cravings for the above are met with a steaming hot chocolate. it doesn;t work very well, but it's the best I have found.

What is it that makes Pizza junk food?

My favorite junk food, in no particular order;

Chocolate chip cookie dough

Cinnamon sugar toast

Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream

Home made chocolate fudge malt.

I could go on but these would be the highlights.

How do you classify homemade pizza, with super thin homemade crust, homemade pasta sauce, mushrooms, onions, spinach, roasted garlic and part skim mozzarella cheese as junk food?

Mmmm Reese's Peanut butter cups, or anything else chocolate and peanut butter related. Next, pizza and dorito's tied for second place. Over here inthe PNW we have Tim's Cascade Potatoe chips, and the vinegar and sea salt flavored are truly to die for if salt is your thing.

we just called them "sliders" and that has nothing to do with how easy they are to swallow.

Yay, McVities!!!!! I love their digestive biscuits (plain and chocolate covered). I also like Hob Nobs, Garibaldi, Ginger. Pretty much everything except Rich Tea (bleh). Have you had Jacob's Club Orange Biscuits? Chocolate covered biscuits with a layer of orange cream sandwiched inbetween, wrapped in shiny gold foil.

Junk food of choice: chocolate

And when I am feeling particularly good I put half and half in my coffee or have egg yolks.

(I work in a bakery so all those yummy baked goods lost their appeal a long time ago)

Gummy Bears (the old fashioned kind, not the newkind!), Swedish Fish, licorice, pizza, cake (b-day cakes from the grocery store are the best!)

I'm sure there's more- that's all I can think of at the moment.
