Subject: Hello all My name is Dave and i'm new to tri's. I have lost just over 75 pounds since this time last year and it has motivated me to train for tri's. I lose my weight with a combo of running and watching my calories. About 3 months ago a friend asked me if i would be interested in doing a sprint tri and i entertained the idea and since i started incorperating biking and swimming with some weights into the program i all ready had, my body has taken on a much "fitter" look. I plan to do 4-5 tri's this summer and i was excited when i found this web board. Thanks for all of the great tips i have been readind and all of the motivational advice and stories.
