Run
Comments: Felt pretty good on the run. Minor ankle pain and sore quads at about mile 10. Low energy about mile 11. What would you do differently?: Train for longer distance than actual race day run. Post race
Warm down: Walked around for a while, light stretching. Recoverite. Walked around lame-ass post race 'party' for a few minutes. Cheered other marathon finishers while waiting for Rob. That was fun! What limited your ability to perform faster: Just need to stick with training and drop a few more pounds. Event comments: Nice to hear that people from 50 states raced today. Enjoyed running in areas that normally can't run due to traffic. Proud to have finished and even prouder of hubby for running the full marathon. Last updated: 2006-01-09 12:00 AM
