Comments: I couldn't believe it...these hot-air ballonists were blocking the road on the far side of the loop for the first two laps...their support ropes were going across the road on the first lap and then gawking vehicles were just sitting in the road for the second lap. They finally took off and we were completely clear for the third loop. What would you do differently?: Get more sleep and remember my caffeine. Post race
Warm down: EZ bike for 18 minutes. It was during this cool down that I realized I had no caffeine in my system. A lot of good it does me now! What limited your ability to perform faster: NO CAFFEINE! and no sleep. Event comments: Not quite as fast as my last time trial, but considering I got little sleep and NO CAFFEINE, I'm pretty happy with the result. Last updated: 2006-04-02 12:00 AM

Didn't sleep well last night...only ~4 hours sleep. Stretched, but horror of horrors, I FORGOT MY COFFEE!!!
Bike race start only ~1 mile from home so biked over to register and did the loop once.
