Any bed suggestions?

I returned my Tempur-Pedic after ~80 days because it was so flippin' HOT. That material traps heat like nothing I've ever experienced and I woke up soaked in sweat and cranking my a/c every night. 

Instead I got a Sleep Number and it's the best decision I've ever made! The beauty of these beds is that the firmness is adjustable - forever. New back pain? Change the number. Crazy sore from a race? Change the number. Need your house guests to leave? Crank it to 100

Get the bed with the dual side adjustments so you and your partner can have unique settings. 
Totally worth the money, IMO.
  

Full latex (nature rest is one company) - all the tempur-pedic benefits/comfort of no springs, but more supportive, good for stomach sleepers, and not as hot.  but they ain't cheap

This is after having the tempurpedic which we had for a few years.   I travel a lot and when I started to come home after sleeping at a hotel for the week, then having pain AT HOME, I decided we needed to do something.  Very happy with the sleep number bed.

I have a Tempur Pedic.

I have multiple back issues for the last ten years and about 6 years ago we made the switch to the tempur. Love the bed. As for the heat issue, that is true. I don't mind it, I love the heat), but my wife complains sometimes.

I would also advise on getting a body pillow. Place it between your legs and it gives stability to your back. It made a BIG difference on how my back felt in the morning.

Tried a tempurpedic in the store...sank in so far I literally couldn't get out of the bed without assistance.

Had a latex bed for a couple years.  Returned it under warranty because it developed huge body impressions...like sleeping in a hole.  It also got really hot.

Now back to an innerspring mattress.  It's ok so far, but I would LOVE to get a sleep number bed...for some reason my husband doesn't want to spend the money on one, and his sleep is the worst.

Tempur Pedic, I will never sleep on any other bed.

10 years of poor sleep and soreness solved in less than 3 nights on the Tempur Pedic, and no problems with heat.

Have you sleep number people had any trouble with mould?  I know someone that had one and did and that so far has turned me off them.  Tempurpedic is probably out as the hubby is a furnace and everyone says how hot it is.

Seems like you just needed a firmer model.  The first one we brought home was so firm it was like sleeping on a board - even at 200 pounds I literally stayed on top.  We exchanged it for a slightly less firm model, and 8 years later I'm still loving it.  x2 on the body pillow.

I bought the entire get-up from Westin beds, I have slept in many hotel beds in the past and Westin seem to ALWAYS be comfy.  So went online and bought everything you need to get a comfy bed, was easy and I love it!

We have one of those clearance shelf $400 mattresses from the mattress discount barn. All I know is that it's a sealy with a pillow top. Yet my wife added a foam core pad, another pillowtop and then our sheets.

She says its more comfortable.

Honestly, I could sleep right on the floor and be good. I have no problems with that at all.

I had mold issues with my Sleep Number.  Customer service was great.  I had new top foam in a day or two at no cost.  However, I never really loved the bed.  I would always feel the divide between the his and hers side.  The foam also broke down.  I've had a mattress from The Original Mattress Factory for a year or so and LOVE it!

We are still sleeping on a water bed (no baffles) after 31 years. We feel it's very supportive.  Another plus is we never have to get into cold sheets.
