Subject: RE: HR zone training test...a little worried about HRConsider yourself lucky IMO. VO2 Max is limited by your Max HR...they both top out together. I can't get mine above 160 no matter how hard I work.
That being said, there is no direct correlation between HR & speed. But as an individual, your Range of 60 to 215 is pretty impressive, and if you have a normal sized heart (ie you're not a 90 lb woman ), that heart beating at 215 is going to be pumping a ton of oxygen to your muscles. As long as they can use it, you're golden.
This is all assuming that it's a normal response to exercise and not a dysrythmia. If it were a dysrythmia, you'd probably have other symptoms like chest pain, trouble breathing, light headedness, chest pounding, palpitations |
