Subject: Bag Balm Blunder

I am a recent convert to Bag Balm, but that's not the story...

I am currently sidelined with a broken tibia, torn MCL, and meniscus damage requiring surgery in 4-6 weeks after the fracture heals.  My scalp has been dry, probably from the lack of chlorine, and my tub of Bag Balm was sitting right there beside me.  I figure if I put that stuff near my yayhoo, it's gotta be gentle enough to go on my scalp.  So I slather some on and go to sleep.  As you can imagine,

I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HAIR!!!

I've washed my hair zillions of times to no avail... any ideas on how to get it out?

No advice on getting it out, but after an unfortunate incident with lotion and trying to re hydrate chlorine damaged hair....  I discovered that you can get any hairstyle to stay.  My normally uncurlable hair was curly for 3 days.

I thought of doing that, but my current dish soap has OxiClean or something similar in it.  I decided to think before I acted this time

Goo gone. Seriously. I have a great story about my two year old, an ENTIRE TUB of vaseline, and naptime. Dawn didn't work, shampoo didn't work. Goo gone did, however.

Dr Bronner's Peppermint soap. You can find it at GNC or similar.

That stuff will clean out any trace of oil or petroleum jelly.

It's also good to take camping with you

Goo gone is the bomb! However, just because you use it on the drapes doenst mean you should use it on the carpet!!

Dish soap is where I would turn to first as it's the cheaper option & works as it is a de-greaser.
