For my fellow BT nerds and appreciators to geek out to. Don't lurk there in the shadows. I know you're there.

Mmmmmmm.

And everybody likes pie.

Math nerds from some other place maybe.  Where I live we only have 12 months.  Where do you come up with this month # 22?!?  I suppose you switch your commas and periods in numeric values too?

Tongue out

Yes!  I can think of at least 3.14159 reasons to eat some PI today!  Actually, since my initials are RR (r squared), I should eat a whole PI today, A = Πr2

Yes! YUM!

My initials are AA. That turned out a little differently than I expected, but it's all good ... and hey ... I can still eat PIE!

Ooooh. Peanutbutter Pie ...

Personally, I think ∏ - the number formerly known as Pi - is all hype. Euler's number (e) has done more for the sport yet gets none of the limelight.

The first failing of e for popular appeal is that it isn't associated with a yummy treat.

The second is that, for popularization purposes, neither its truncated nor approximated value are represented by calendar days.

The third is that PIE makes sense to everyone, while you have to admit e is just irrational.

We are in America

7/22 is 1/3 approximation day
Close enough for government work.

Pie - e = pi

I see the Marie Callender propaganda machine reaches deep into BT.

Let's not forget the leading contribution e makes in Éclair as well as making both Pie and Cake possible.

E has contributed significantly to the arts, sciences as well as finding time to make regular appearances on Wheel of Fortune.

Join me on Feb 7, 2018 (2/7/18), Euler's day, as we celebrate all irrational numbers (the rest of world celebration is of course on July 2, 2018). Kids can take their pictures with our special guest: Square root of -1.

Any engineer worth his salt knows that 22/7 is abomination and not worthy of a day (even in Europe where they write their dates funny)
