Subject: RE: Anyone done a 6 perosn Ranger relay?I've done the 6 person Ragnar (you're basically an "ultra" team because your individual mileage will most likely account for over 26.2 miles...). We did the Woodstock race, it was such a blast. We only had one van and we simply leap frogged our way through the race. Worked fine, and this included having to pick up one of our team members at a train station because he had booked a commercial that morning. Each person did two legs before a handoff, which usually was around 6-13 miles. Highly recommend the 6 person team, it was such a blast and I liked that it was just the 6 of us (getting 12 people together to do this seems like a nightmare...). Seemed less annoying than coordinating with two vans. Also, it's really not that tough to do the miles, because you're still taking a couple hours between each leg to rest. Also, this, if you can see it: tips for a successful Ragnar Relay: https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=449094854740 (NSFW, some language, sorry, we were loopy).
