I don't understand how those around her could allow it, either. I feel badly for her and her family. She was at the University of Wisconsin the same time I was and was probably the highest profile athlete on campus, except for a few of the male football and basketball players. She always seemed like the All-American girl. Even today, she seemed to be leading the "ideal" suburban lifestyle. The story is just so mind-blowing and sad. |
