Subject: RE: Finding BigfootJust like 10,000,000 Elvis fans can't be wrong, neither can thousands of eye witnesses. There's just too many and too credible witnesses for there not to be something there. Of course, there's also the wealth of art and oral history passed along by Native Americans about the "Hairy Men of the Woods".
Add in the footprints with dermal ridges, hair samples that DNA tests show are primate but of indeterminate origin and recordings that audio analysis show are also primate but of indeterminate origin and I believe the circumstantial evidence is pretty convincing.
Yeah, I'm down with the Squatch. I'd sure like to see a body or piece of good quality High-Def video, though. Gotta admit, it does seem odd that in this age when everyone has a camera phone or high-def video camera, that we don't have a piece of video that can surpass the Patterson-Gimlin film.
That said, if you've seen one episode of "Finding Bigfoot", you've seen them all. Witness sends in video of a blob-squatch. The FB team goes on location to investigate. Witness tells their story, Bobo stands in for the sasquatch in a recreation and no matter how convincing the story actually is, Matt and Bobo are thoroughly convinced and welcome the witness to "The Club". The team walks though the woods at night, hear a distant wood knock or rock being thrown and someone declares "It's feeling awfully squatchy around here!" They have a town meeting at which several eye witnesses come forward, the team does another investigation and, using their high-tech heat-sensing FLIR camera, capture an image of a deer grazing. It's a pretty tired formula by now.
