I is pleased!

So, now that the season is over how did YOUR team fair?

I'm sure there are a few of you pleasantly surprised (Indi, Denver, maybe Houston).

Some of you disappointed (Chi, NYJ)

And of course, some of you just USED to disappointment (Dallas).

Yes....yes we are.

I don't know if I'd rather have what's happened over the last few seasons.....or finish 2-14.

Meh....at least the Bears aren't in. Cuz, according to Bears fans, when they were 7-1, they were already deciding on who they were going to play in the SB.

My Packers are in, I don't know how long they will last with the O line playing the way it is. But at least they are in for now.

Waiting to see the Faclons go down in flames as usual, should be fun to watch.

Hoping Payton and the Broncos can get past the Pat's to go to the big game.

I don't see how any Houston Fan is anything BUT disappointed!!!!!  This is not a play off year for us.  This is a SUPERBOWL year for us and we're limping in to the playoffs on a 1-3 record and definitively LOSING to a team we definitively BEAT 2 weeks ago.  Putrid!!!!  Absolutely horrendous!!  We had home field advantage all but LOCKED UP 4 weeks ago.  It was virtually a given.  And we haven't been resting our starters, they've been playing for crying out loud!!!!!!!

So mad I could spit.  We're going one and done in the playoffs this year.

I'm generally an optimist, but if you been paying attention to the last 4 weeks as a Texans fan, you have nothign to be excited about going into the playoffs.

Although, on the bright side, we don't have Romo.  So we've got that going for us.......... which is nice.

My Niners would like to thank you and GB for the Packers loss yesterday. I was really hoping to not have a game to watch this weekend.

Niners over Peyton in the SB. Of course, I'm being completely objective.

I told the wife that this weekend was the last games of the season and she just celebrated!  No more football!

Boy will she be surprised when I'm watching football for at least another 6 weeks or so.

"no honey, that was the REGULAR season.  Not to be confused with PRE-season".  Now the real football starts in the POST season. "  She never understands that the end of seasons doesn't mean the end of football.  Then the pro bowl shows up somewhere in there.

I don't have "a team" but I root for several players and Peyton is one of them.  I'd love to see him go all the way in Denver.

Story's/Players I've enjoyed watching this year.

Year of the Rookies
RGIII - wow
Russell Wilson
Alfred Morris

Come Back Kids:
Peyton Manning
Adrian Peterson

Well the Buckeyes went 12-0 and can't play in a bowl game due to some "poor decisions". Oh wait, you're referring to the professional's. Never mind!

Go Seahawks! Russell Wilson should be ROY but he won't get it because everyone is slobbering over Luck in spite of his 18 INT's which is more than RG3 and RW combined.

Can you really call AP a "come back"player. I think the dude missed the 2nd half of the last game of the year last year. He is a freak of nature!

If AP would have broken ED's rushing record, I would think he would have locked up the MVP award.  Now it's a bit more muddy.  Probably PM is a bit favored?  Probably depends on what happens in the post season.

Yeah I was getting ready to be upset about missing the bye, but then my buddy reminded me that my team sucks after a bye, so it is best if they don't get a week off. Just prayin the Vikes don't knock us out, that would be embarrassing.

Oh, and screw the Seahawks! (sorry Josh

Well, going into the last game of the year, we were out of playoff contention, both our coach and GM were dead men walking, and we were playing a completely meaningless game that turned into a laugher..... just another day in the life of a Browns fan.

At 5-12, however, I think we might have slightly over-achieved.

Another season done and another time to re-build. I really hope my Browns get it right this time, this two year cycle is getting really old.

As a Browns fan and semi-reformed Elway hater, I will be rooting for the Broncos in the play-offs this year. I have come to respect Elway as both a player and a team executive. I have always like Peyton too and would like to see him win another ring.

BTW Karlis missed the FG in 1986.

It's pretty much 6 of one half-dozen of the other for me when it comes to ROY. Luck took a 2-14 team to the playoffs and didn't have Morris/Lynch (ranked 2 and 3 in Rushing yds) to hand the ball off to like RG3 and Wilson. A LOT more was put on his shoulders and he did a heck of a job. Not to detract from RG3 and Wilson, but they had more to work with. Plus, Wilson was handed a win, a TD and had 1 less INT than he should have, just sayin

I'm so flippin happy right now I can't stand it. It was Houston's #1 to lose, and they did... but Broncos are sitting on top with home field at Mile High to the Championship and things are looking good.

I have a huge annual Superbowl party I attend.  I'm hoping I can fly the orange and blue this year.  I already promised work that if they get to the superbowl, I'm going to dress as an uber homer one day.  Hat, shirt, jacket...  Thanks to the wife and giving me "safe" gifts she knows I would like, I have Bronco gear falling out my ears.

Denver is looking really strong, but they don't have any signature wins this year.  They've had 5 playoff teams on their schedule, and are 2-3 against them.  Beating Cincy and Baltimore, losing to NE, Houston, and Atlanta.

Every team seems to have a weakness, or prone to having a bad game.  Looks to be pretty wide open.  I wouldn't be shocked if Minnesota ends up playing Cincy in the Super Bowl.

I have to agree with you. Seems like the last few years, we've had teams stumble into the playoffs and then win the SB.

The season really starts now.

I'm busy looking at stats like completion %. I'm looking at the top 30 QB's in the league and I can't seem Luck's name anywhere. The big problem with his season is in a lot of the bad stat's he ranks right up there with Sanchez, whatever the Cardinals QB trio is called, and other's. He's done very poorly in INT's, completion %, YPA. He also has a much better WR corps than RW or RG3 IMO. I don't think any Colts fan would willingly trade WR's with Seattle.

More than likely, The Pats will be coming to Mile High, and we can beat them.

Obviously I am optimistic and biased, but I do feel going to the SB is more than a possibility.... but I learned a long time ago to stop counting Pats out in Dec/Jan. But we are not the same team as we were when we played first time, and Pats are beatable... mile high... it is not a done deal.

As far as who we would meet... well who knows... Seahawks/9ers/ATL... playing really well. Not sure what to think, all can be beat.

As far as Manning choking.... keep dreaming.

I'm always amazed when the SB is over how much people give all kinds of praise to the winner as if to say "this was clearly the best team..." When the SB winner is just the guy who got hot for 3 or 4 consecutive games.
