I think that's what I was looking for. So there's no way to add comments from the calendar? I need to go to the blog each time to add a comment?

Ahhh.  I'm an idiot.  I tried very hard to make the calendar match the blog in terms of logging and I totally missed the overall comments.  That should be easy.
